Display for users
In its most basic form, this would consist of information
presented through database reports. However, as the system progresses, we will
include a variety of visualizations, such as 2D and 3D animations, bar and pie
charts, histograms, etc.
For decision and risk management
Results would include:
- An optimal strategy and the probability of success, expressed as a percentage within a confidence interval,
- Recommended actions and alternative options,
- Suggestions to improve the outcome (i.e. a higher chance of success),
- Reasons for concern (i.e., factors that can be adjusted to mitigate risk).
For simulations
The reports would include:
- Expected changes in behavior (i.e., system parameters)
- These could result from information entered automatically or provided by the user.
- For example, to simulate an automated control system, this could be a change in measurable readings.
- The simulations would be based on the result of the engineering model being used (i.e., the algorithms that simulate the physical system).
